Diane McClymont

I have two girls here at OPS and another who has moved on to ROI. My husband Stephen and I have lived in Onehunga for over 14 years. We love this community and this school with it’s wonderful staff, great families and of course, awesome children!

I have a graphic design and administration background and am passionate about giving children creative outlets alongside the academic and life skills they need to succeed in life. I have been highly involved with many aspects of school life over the last 7 years and immersed myself in many community groups and projects. I feel privileged to be on the board helping to provide the best for our children in these formative years of their school careers and will work to represent our whole school community.

Viki Holley (Principal)
I started as principal of Onehunga Primary School at the beginning of 2014. I have previously been principal of schools in South Auckland and in the Bay of Plenty.
I love being part of the rich and diverse Onehunga Primary School community.
I am enjoying working with staff, students, BOT and community to provide the best possible opportunities for our children.
Onehunga Primary School is on an exciting journey with lots of initiatives planned over the next few years. This builds on the solid foundations developed over many years prior to my arrival.

My husband Colin and I have lived in Onehunga for more than 10 years.  Our 2 children have been at Onehunga Primary from their first day of school and have thrived within the school environment.  I have a strong desire to see all children succeed, and believe that quality education and opportunities are key components to a positive future for our children and our community. I am usually at school during drop off and pickup times if there is ever an issue you would like to raise, I am always keen for a coffee and a chat!

I have two children at OPS and another one that has now moved on to Intermediate. I have a tremendous passion for the school and the Onehunga community. I think there is a fantastic variety of people from all walks of life, who all add to the wonderful fabric that is Onehunga. I have a background in finance, business and law and am pleased to be able to use my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to help provide a great platform for learning for the children. This is my second term on the Board and before that I was an active member of the Friends of the School. I love getting involved in other local community activities too; I play and coach a team of energetic youngsters at the local football club. It is an absolute privilege to represent the parents of the Onehunga Primary School community and to be able to play a part in such an important facet of our children’s lives. I’m extremely excited to be working with such a dedicated and talented team on the OPS Board and am confident that, together with the school community as a whole, we are making a positive difference.
