OPS's Got Talent

OPS’s Got Talent 2021

We know that we have a lot of children with talents and passions which we don't always get to see at school. We want to give them a chance to share and celebrate them with us.

In Term 2 children (individuals or groups) can prepare a short performance (act) to share with an audience at lunch times once a week.

This is not a competition and anyone can take part - either as an audience member or sharing a performance, item or act.

Each ‘act’ must be no longer than 1 minute long. The suggested time is between 30 seconds and 1 minute.

An act could be anything you want to share. For example it might be…

  • playing an instrument

  • a cultural performance

  • speaking in a language other than English

  • talking about a passion or hobby

  • sharing a piece of writing, a poem….

  • telling jokes

  • doing a magic trick

  • showing skill or how to do something

….Anything which will be entertaining for the audience.

To take part, you need to complete the entry form complete the form online here

We will start performances a couple of weeks into Term 2 and you will be told in advance which week you will be sharing your performance.

At this stage we do not know how many weeks we will have performances. It will depend on the number of interested children.

Please come and see Mrs Holley if you have any questions or email me vholley@onehungaprimary.school.nz

Remember - you need to practice your performance AND make sure it is no longer than 1 minute.

We can't wait to share and celebrate with you!
