From Our BOT

A message from Brad Erceg (BOT Chair / Presiding Member)

The school is governed by a Board of Trustees, elections are held every 3 years. The board comprises 7 members; 5 elected by parents, 1 elected by the staff, and the Principal who is automatically a member. If you are interested in becoming a trustee, please contact me directly or the Principal.

At Onehunga Primary School we are fortunate to have a dedicated group of teachers and school leaders who do their very best for our school. As a Board key focus areas are to:

  • ensure that children and teachers are safe at school

  • set the strategic direction of the school

  • maximise student achievement for all students

  • be good employers

  • manage the property as a whole

The Board meets twice a term, dates of meetings are advertised in the school newsletter and on the school website calendar. Parents and members of the public are welcome to attend Board meetings, should you like to attend please contact me directly or the office.
